P1040424Tonight was the first time I have welded anything in over 6 years! SO MUCH FUN. Our welder Jason picked up the 3/16″ 3″x3″ angle iron today and we welded the first window frame together at his studio. We used a plasma cutter to chop the angle iron where we needed it chopped and a MIG welder for the rest. It took us 2 hours but this was the first frame so much measuring and figuring went into this one. P1040416I think the others will take an hour or less. We will start cutting out holes in the containers after welding together one more frame just so we know were doing it correctly…

Tomorrow will consist of setting up sonotubes and welding the second frame together. Wish us luck!
