It has been quite a day, quite a week, quite a month. There’s a million more things we could do before these suckers get moved tomorrow, but at some point you just have to say, “It’s go time.”
I created an genius way to attack the problem I created with the anti-adhesive…Ryan never commented on my brilliance today, leaving only me to take care of that here.Remember when we thought it was a good idea to remove all of the kajillion stickers on the containers? Well, those stickers were STUCK so I sprayed them all down with a soy based de-sticker solution. That product didn’t do hardly anything for sticker removal, but it did eat through the paint and create a sticky, gooey, horrible mess. We tried sanding off the stickyness…bigger mess. So today, I decided to see what would happen if i primed over the situation and voila! Brilliance I tell you.
Both our truck and our crane ran into bumps in their own plans today. After some scrambling, we were pretty much back on track…change being delivery will start at 1 as opposed to 9 am.
We have felt a Christmas-Eve-like anticipation for days now. We’re operating on miniscule amounts of sleep, but tomorrow we will have strength in numbers, faith, and some good cold beer.
Thanks for sticking with us this far! (Holy crap, this is actually happening)
