Today was a window day. Golder and I put in five operable windows and put in the outdoor trim that will hold in the HUGE window panes upstairs. We ripped some treated 1″ x 1″ railings at 45˚ so that the flat part of the window pane will sit against the flat part, and there will be an angle for water to flow away from the window panes. We had enough time to liquid-nail / trim nail half of the big window openings (3).

Brook kept on keeping on with the paint… working on the interior white walls. We found out that we do NOT have to complete the deck behind our house to get C.O. (certificate of occupancy). We just have to install a railing that blocks the door until we have the money to build the porch! This was GREAT news.

We also found all of our vinyl soffiting today at the Blue Ridge Surplus for 1/2 price!

Today was a very successful day indeed.
