My Bad (And Rain Chains)

It happened. The day my perfectionist self has been dreading since this blog’s birth. The winning streak is over. Last night I fell asleep. And Ryan fell asleep. And we left you with no post. We’re blaming it on vacation, exhaustion…anything but ourselves. Thankfully, USA beat Ghana this evening so we can all go crack a beer, put up our feet and forget this whole thing ever happened.

In Japan they are known as Kusari doi. In the U.S. they are often called rain chains and can be used in place of downspouts. We think they’re beautiful and how nice to discover they are DIY-able! We would love to collect rocks from our family’s river for the catchment…
