Settling In

Hello All,

We miss you! Moves are always about 10x more challenging than expected, but we have had some amazing help which we are beyond grateful for. We are so overwhelmed in so many ways. The home is everything we ever dreamed it would be and I think we’re experiencing a wee bit of shock that we actually pulled it off.

The next couple of months are going to be busy as there is still much to do. In order to turn more of our focus to the lengthy “To Do” list, we are going to shift this daily blog to a weekly blog for awhile. I’ll post on Mondays with updates on all of our projects, information regarding the documentary and any other big goings ons. We cannot thank you all enough for following us on this journey. You all made the experience so much richer than if we’d gone it alone. Thank you again for the kind and generous contributions as well as the encouraging messages that carried us through. We hope it’s been fun to follow along. Can we keep the party going just a little bit longer?

Here’s the beginnings of moving in…

  1. Thank you for sharing your adventure with us. The good, the awful, the fun, and the beautiful. What I’ve learned from you is that a plasma cutter isn’t absolutely necessary, welding is a super nice skill to have, the bureaucratic hurdles are more numerous than one would think, and most of all, you are blessed if you have friends and family to share the journey.

    1. Thank you Barb! Yes, all the things you have learned seem true. The journey has not been without hurdles, but the payoff from perseverance is very sweet. Dream following is definitely for those who stay in the ring…
