Hello, hello! Without accomplishing too much, today still felt a bit like a whirlwind. I’m hopeful for a good quote from the drywaller who stopped by earlier. He was super friendly and does some amazing work with a local non-profit that helps people avoid a down payment and purchase a modest home, by taking part in the construction process. Yes! That’s what I’m talkin’ about.
Tomorrow morning, while I’m at work, Ryan will be collecting insulation scraps from local home-building company Deltec. They have generously offered up a large dose of extras that will serve to insulate underneath the containers…saving us lots of money and helping to keep us comfy year round.
